original food tech biscuit design ideas?
January 10th, 2012Question by Alex C: original food tech biscuit design suggestions?
i have a food tech mock gcse paper next week, and seeing as absolutely everyone is so lovely out there, i was questioning if everyone had a good style idea.
We have to make 2 healthyish biscuit styles (we don’t have to make the actual biscuits) preferably one savoury and one sweet. i would like a complicated idea with a description of the look, maybe with flavours, textures or shapes that you wouldn’t generally put together, not offered in shops.

in the savory: use rosemary, a pinch of garlic powder and butter and shape it like a scone, tall with no uniformity in shape
in the sweet: use kahlua or amaretto and added butter and shape them like crackers, or cookies really thin and layed out

i think it modifications every single year, based on how tough the exam was. for example if the exam was tougher then you would want a lower mark to get a C since much less people would get reeeally high marks. i hope that makes sense!
