I’m carrying out a food tech gcse cooking practical on thursday – making pizza – and I was wondering how to garnish it when I serve it on a plate for photographing. I want to do a salad, preferably with an extra lemon slice cut into some sort of swirl type thing. How do you make plain salads appear classy? And how do you do stuff with lemons that make them stand up on their own but look truly good subsequent to all the green? Thanks a lot!

Finest answer:

Answer by Emu
Scroll down for the salad on this one…really desirable…

http://myturkishjoys.blogspot.com/2011/06/roka-with-twist.html

I like this plate garnish a lot utilizing cucumber and lemon but it may be a small straightforward next to a salad….

http://garnishfood.blogspot.com/2010/05/plate-food-garnish-component-1.html

This is an orange slice and cherry….but you could use a lemon slice and olive or grape or a cherry tomato.

Question by Nattie: food tech or enterprise research GSCE?
i am 14 and i have the opportunity to adjust studying food tech GCSE to organization scientific studies, i do appreciate food tech but i dont believe that i will do it as a career. i want to be a psychologist and i thought that company research could aid me set up my personal organization and get more money. i have usually wanted to earn adequate money to set up my personal horse yard which has constantly been a dream of mine and my mums. i really like psychology and locate it fascinating and i know that it pays effectively but if i set up my personal company it would be a dream come true. i know that food tech is the effortless way out and would enterprise studies be worth it. i want to appear back and know that i have created the most of what i have got and that i did not regret my decision. thanks xxx

Best answer:

Answer by Katie
At GCSE it truly doesn’t matter!
If you want to do enterprise at college then do it at gcse.
But when you leave school GCSE’s actually don’t mean anything. They just get you into college.
